Where to buy in Covent Garden
September 29th, 2008 by | Filed under Covent Garden. You can see why having a flat in Covent Garden would be quite an attractive proposition. Maybe the area around the Piazza is a bit touristy, but the Seven Dials area looks to me to be a nice place to hang out. The shops and cafes just seem a lot more fun and interesting than the shops in Shaftesbury Avenue, or even Piccadilly or Regent Street further north. But I am guessing that most flats involve climbing a lot of stairs and don’t have lifts.
There are only a handful of freehold houses in Covent Garden, in Mercer Street and Shorts Gardens. Homes are generally be flats above shops and restaurants. The area around Seven Dials is particularly popular. Also streets around the Piazza off St Martin’s Lane.
