Where to buy in King’s Cross

September 29th, 2008 by | Filed under King's Cross.

King’s Cross is a work in progress. Regent Court is a six acre development near the Regent’s Canal in the area above Wharfedale Road. It is a mixture of business and residential. Old industrial buildings have been converted into lofts, or else new buildings have been constructed. Only a short distance away is Islington and Camden Town. Other developments in the canal area include new and converted buildings in Thornhill Bridge Wharf, Ice Wharf in New Wharf Road, and developments on All Saints Road and York Way. Another older residential area is in the region of Caledonian Road which has some original Victorian houses in streets such as Keystone Crescent and Balfe Street. South of Pentonville Road, there are council blocks, including the towers of the Birkenhead Estate towards Gray’s Inn Road.
