Acton Green
September 28th, 2008 by | Filed under Acton Green.Acton Green runs roughly from the railway lines to St Albans Avenue in the east. The properties in the area was mostly built in the late Victorian and early Edwardian eras. Local estate agents, or perhaps the people who live here, claim to be in Chiswick not Acton- Acton Green has Chiswick’s W4 postal code after all. Houses are often described by estate agents’ particulars as being in ‘Chiswick Park’ after the local tube station. And who can blame them? – Chiswick sounds so much more stylish than commuter-land Acton. Acton Green is cut off from the main part of Acton by the railway lines. Perhaps Chiswick can do a Russian style invasion and absorb it.
