Where to buy in Mill Hill

September 29th, 2008 by | Filed under Mill Hill.

Holders Hill Road, Crescent, Gardens, and Drive contain mansion blocks and new houses with views over the golf course to the north. Manor Hall Avenue has detached houses also with a view of the golf course. The area just north and east of the golf course around a Bittacy Hill and Sanders Lane has seen a considerable redevelopment in recent years, including many new houses on a former ministry of defence site. The Ridgeway leads up to Mill Hill village. There are old and new houses and a village pond. Between Daws Lane and Hammers Lane is a grid of streets named after English poets, containing medium to large houses. The most expensive houses in Mill Hill start above Lawrence Street. Uphill Road is the most sought-after road in the area, with similarly sought-after houses in Sunnyfield, the Reddings, and adjoining streets as far as Highwood Hill. There are also some attractive homes to be found in the strip between Watford Way and the M1 motorway, in the streets off Flower Lane and in Russell Grove and Weymouth Avenue.
